SMARTI is a solar-powered WiFi hotspot that allows users to connect to the Internet wirelessly. The pole has a solar panel that is connected to a charge controller and a battery. These components power a POE injector which provides power for the mounted access point and microwave.

SMARTI can go up to 40 hours without sunlight and support 25 users per pole within 600 feet.
